Terms of Service

Your account

• You must be 13 or older to use Neon.
• Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• Pick a username that follows the Code of Conduct. We may change or remove usernames that don't.

What you make

• You own the worlds and assets you create. By publishing or uploading them, you let us store them, show them, and let other players visit and see them in Neon.
• Only publish or upload things you made or have the right to use.
• Everything you publish must follow the Code of Conduct. We may remove content that doesn't, without notice.

Playing with others

Neon is a social game, and other players' worlds, avatars, and voices are theirs, not ours. We review reports and act on them, but we can't watch everything. Use mute, block, hide, and report whenever you need to.

Neon Coins

• Neon Coins are a virtual currency you can buy in the game and spend on avatar accessories and on items sold in other players' worlds.
• Neon Coins have no cash value. You can't sell them, transfer them to another account, or exchange them for real money, and creators can't cash out coins they earn.
• All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. Refunds for coin packs are handled through the Meta Horizon Store.
• When you buy an item in someone's world, the coins go to that world's creator. Creators are responsible for what their shop items do; report items that don't work as described.
• Only creators we approve can sell items. We may remove shop items, and may remove coins or items obtained through bugs, fraud, or chargebacks.
• If we close your account for breaking these terms, or if Neon shuts down, unspent coins and items are lost.

Breaking the rules

If you break these terms or the Code of Conduct, we may remove your content, suspend your account, or close it.

The service

• Neon is provided "as is." We work to keep it running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, change, or lose features.
• To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages from using Neon.
• Your purchase of Neon is also covered by the Meta Horizon Store's terms.

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Neon after that, you accept the new terms.
